Made from L5 steel, the same steel that jack hammer bits are made from, this handy axe can take lots of punishment. It’s all one piece construction with a G10/ Micarta handle. The blade edge or “BIT” is sharp enough to split, chop and cut. The rear spike can be used for prying, demolition or making holes in aluminum, wood, glass, even bricks and blocks! The “Knob” of the axe is a diamond shape so you can pound it into the earth and it can be used as an anchor. You can also use it as a breaker. The top the “Head” of the axe is purposely arced so you can get more leverage when prying. The “Beard” of the axe was made to enable the user to choke up on the axe for fine cutting and witling work.
