Is Disney’s Happiest Haunts Guided Tour worth it in 2026? We finally experienced Disneyland’s Halloween guided tour during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort, and it was NOT what I expected!
Before our trip, I watched videos about Disney’s Happiest Haunts Guided Tour and expected spooky Disney stories, villains, haunted history, Halloween lore, and a deeper look at the creepy side of Disneyland. But the 2026 Happiest Haunts Guided Tour felt very different from what I had seen in older videos.
The tour takes you through both Disney California Adventure and Disneyland Park, exploring Halloween decorations, seasonal details, and experiences connected to Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party. We also experienced some of the special perks included with the tour and returned later that night for reserved viewing of Halloween Screams.
So was Disney’s Happiest Haunts Guided Tour bad? Not at all. But was it the Disneyland Halloween tour I thought I was booking? That's a different question.
In this video, I'll share our experience with the current version of the tour, what surprised me, what I enjoyed, what I expected to be different, and whether I would personally pay to do it again.
