IMPORTANT: The original file did not record properly, hence why no video. Good news is - there was no visual info that would have been crucial for this part. The image I mentioned (which obviously never appeared) was of the side by side comparison of models of BBC's original vs the remake by Fred the Dinosaur Man. Video will be on as normal in part 2!
While the program itself is mainly focused on the review of the documentary, a few tangents were also included for educational and entertainment purposes. Enjoy!
Contents:
0:00 - Introduction.
5:49 - T.rex fossil sample.
10:49 - Is using upper end (size) specimens a good method to make a case for the size?
20:33 - Giant Tyrannosaurine morphology, size vs behaviour, hunting and some evolutionary trends.
30:40 - Violent behaviour: Social Norm or Anti-Social? Me and John debating (a little bit!).
39:20 - Additional hypothesis on Tyrannosaur face biting.
44:44 - "Reptilian vs Birdlike", but Birds = Reptiles, therefore misleading framing of the claim/ point?
49:57 - Speed testing a T.rex.
57:29 - Enfluffening.
