With the new Netflix series The Witcher premiering this year, now might be a good time to look at the real-world mythology behind Andrzej Sapkowski's fantasy novel series and their various adaptations. Because the Author is Polish, there is a noticeable Slavic influence on the creatures and characters that appear in The Witcher. So, in this video, I will break down the real-world Slavic mythology of 6 Legendary Creatures, or Characters that appear in The Witcher books, games and hopefully the Netflix seires.
