iCloud not syncing your photos or files? It's usually not a bug; it's a storage problem.
✨ Get your free CleanMyMac trial to free up the space your Mac needs to sync: clnmy.com/3RqslmW
Why does my syncing with iCloud keep stopping?
When disk space is low, the syncing can be stalled or behave inconsistently. Syncing requires a temporary local space to download, transfer, and process files, so a nearly full disk can make sync slow, inconsistent, or stuck.
⬇️
The first thing you should do is check your iCloud storage: Apple menu – System Settings – your name. Click iCloud, and then Manage for more details.
Use built-in macOS tools to free up space:
1. System Settings – General – Storage
2. Photos – iCloud – Optimize Mac Storage
The real fix: give macOS room to work. Sync depends on both cloud and local space, so clean up your Mac's disk.
