In this video, Christine talks about a recent report by the Globe and Mail that agents from India attempted to meddle in Pierre Poilievre's 2022 conservative leadership campaign. Poilievre was never told, because he does not have security clearance.
Canadians could benefit from a deeper understanding of the law that has resulted in Poilievre declining that clearance. The law - the NSICOP Act, is a political trap. The law was challenged, struck down, then upheld on appeal, and now has leave to be heard at the Supreme Court later this year.
The Canadian Constitution Foundation is applying to intervene in that appeal.
