Why would anyone leave a warm house to jump into the North Atlantic when the water is between 0°C and 3°C? 🥶❄️

In this video, I’m taking you under the surface in Brigus, Newfoundland, to show you exactly why spring diving is one of my favorite times of the year. While the air might still have a bite, the water is crystal clear and the ocean is just starting to wake up.

In this dive, we’ll see:

Ctenophores (Comb Jellies): Watch closely for their LED-like glow!
The "Clear" Advantage: Why May offers some of the most peaceful and unbelievable visibility for filming.
Spring Life: From tiny krill (the snack that powers the whales!) to camouflaged sculpins and baby starfish.
Coastal Action: Exploring near lobster pots as the season kicks off.
It’s peaceful, it’s still, and it’s a side of Newfoundland many people never get to see.

I want to hear from you: Would you brave 0-degree water for a view like this? Let me know in the comments!
