Recently, there's been some debate about the identity of Golden Freddy and the Vengeful Spirit, with one well known theory proposing that the Crying Child is Cassidy and Golden Freddy, while Michael is the Vengeful Spirit, both instead of the girl named Cassidy many others have believed to be the one William shouldn't have killed. Part of the reason for this seems to be that the Vengeful Spirit is referred to as a him, but thanks to Charlie Emily possessing the Puppet, I don't think that actually matters
