'It's not radical to believe a construction worker deserves the same rights to a fair trial as a banker, CEO or politician,' Chandler-Mather said. 'It is not radical to believe that allegations of wrongdoing should be tested in a court, not by politicians'. More than 10,000 workers took to the streets around Australia in protest against the federal takeover of the CFMEU on Tuesday, with one sacked branch leader announcing a high court challenge to the laws.
