There aren't many covered bridges outside of New England so to come across one in Illinois (west of Chicago) was quite amazing! The guy who made this bridge moved here only a few years after the REVOLUTIONARY WAR! This bridge is extremely old and was a pretty unique find! We saw it fitting to film this video with the Headless Horseman song from Disneys The Adventure of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, a film that includes two Disney shorts. The bridge looks very similar to that of the one in the Ichabod Crane portion. And seeing as its September 2nd, two days into "The Spooly Time™" I think now is the best time to finally post this!
