So in the past I’ve made videos on various topics on Sonic the Hedgehog, whether it be what I’d like to see in the next upcoming title, trying to spin a positive light on the series when I feel like it needs it most, and also my fair share of criticisms of the series. While again, I’m not of the camp that Sonic had a rough transition into 3D schtick, I have realized some glaring issues with games like Sonic Adventure. It will always have a fond place in my heart due to the memories I’ve had with it, but it just gets worse every time I go back and play it. But why is that? Has it aged, was it flawed from the jump, or is it a combination of both? This is so instrumental because since Sonic Adventure's release Sonic still hasn’t found solid footing in a 3D environment. Or has he?
