During the 15th and 17th centuries, Scotland was the setting for two of history's greatest betrayals which involved rival families, murders of guests, a slaughter at dinner and a medieval conspiracy to cover up the evidence. In this video we illustrate how the historical events known as the Black Dinner and the Massacre of Glencoe served to create much of the inspiration behind the Red Wedding in Game of Thrones.
