AI can do almost anything a human can. So, what’s the difference?

In this Torah teaching, Chief Rabbi Dr Warren Goldstein reflects on the one thing that separates human beings from even the most advanced artificial intelligence: the search for meaning.

Quoting Viktor Frankl, he explains that meaning comes from the neshama, the soul. That is something no machine will ever possess.

Computers can think.
They can process.
But they will never feel the spiritual and emotional need to make life meaningful.

Key themes:
– Torah perspective on AI
– Viktor Frankl and the search for meaning
– The uniqueness of the human soul
– Spiritual needs vs. artificial intelligence
