The first trailer for **Avengers: Doomsday** is finally here, and the internet has wasted no time reacting. From trailer breakdowns and Easter eggs to hot takes about the future of Marvel, everyone seems to have an opinion.

But I think everyone is talking about the wrong thing.

In this video, I discuss why the biggest challenge facing **Avengers: Doomsday** has very little to do with the trailer itself—and everything to do with the road that brought Marvel Studios to this moment.

Can Marvel recapture the excitement that led to **Avengers: Infinity War** and **Avengers: Endgame**? Or is rebuilding the audience now the MCU's greatest challenge?
