America built hundreds of animatronics to entertain an entire generation... and then threw them in the trash! I'm Walt, expert in animatronics. You see, in the 80s there was a massive animatronics boom. Chuck E. Cheese and ShowBiz Pizza were printing money, and everyone wanted a piece... restaurant chains, fun centers, even Hollywood studios built their own robot bands. But when the craze died, those characters didn't retire to a museum. They were sold off, forgotten in warehouses, and left to rot in scrapyards. Today we're going to uncover three of these stories... a lost cat that the internet believes is the last of her kind, a lounge pianist found with his face melting off, and a moose that refuses to leave the stage. And along the way, you'll meet the fans who are rescuing these robots one by one. Let's start with the mysterious Purrscilla Purr.
