Is your 3D printer’s bridging suddenly looking like "absolute garbage"? You might be facing a rare hardware failure that’s nearly impossible to catch in your slicer settings.
In this episode of Print Fix Friday, we sit down with Wiktor from @nookla.official to troubleshoot a @Prusa3D CORE One that went from "printing great" to failing every overhang. After 700 hours of use, a mysterious nozzle issue emerged: the nozzle tip was actually being pushed out of the heatbreak!
We compare the CORE One’s performance against the Elegoo Centauri Carbon, discuss why "cold welding" and dissimilar metals can cause these parts to fail, and share a "hammer and blowtorch" fix (though we're glad Prusa sent a replacement!).
In this video, we cover: ✅ Why your bridging might fail even with perfect first layers. ✅ Troubleshooting the Prusa Nextruder and E3D Obxidian nozzles. ✅ The difference between "mechanical staking" and heat staking. ✅ Business advice for 3D printing startups: Moving from "cheap" to "affordable." ✅ Why having a second machine (like the @ElegooOfficial Centauri Carbon) is the best diagnostic tool.
Special thanks to Wiktor from NOOK.la for sharing his story! Check out their premium, affordable desk organizers here: 📸 Instagram: instagram.com/nookla.official 🛍️ Etsy: etsy.com/shop/nookla
