The RapidChange Beast Dual Z CNC with Automatic Tool Changer.
Testing the prototype cutting some aluminum.
I'm using a 19mm sheet of HDPE as a spoil board the bed is two layers of 19mm Natural Phenolic as well asw all the connecting plates.
Orange frog tape and CA glue do a fantastic job of holding this block of aluminum. The initial adaptive clearing are 6mm deep and a step over of 1mm. 18000rpm and 800mm/min
This machine is super rigid with the gantry tower and dual Z it eliminates the potential deflection by having Z on the spindle carriage.
the bed is 18 x 24
The overall outside dimensions are 43 x 42 x 37 high.
