John C. Lilly was an American physician, neuroscientist, psychoanalyst, psychonaut, philosopher, and writer, and a member of a generation of counterculture scientists and thinkers that included Ram Dass, Werner Erhard and Timothy Leary, all frequent visitors to the Lilly home.
Lilly is perhaps best remembered for his pioneering work in interspecies (human-dolphin) communication.
"The Quiet Center - The Strange Ideas Of John C. Lilly" is a project by Peter Bergmann, creator of the documentaries "The Transcendental Object At The End Of Time" and "Terence McKenna's True Hallucinations".
The documentary will be available for free on YouTube, so please consider supporting this project which has been in the works for many years and took considerable funds to create.
