The Queen's Reading Room Festival returns to Chatsworth in Derbyshire this year (19 & 20 September 2026). In this film, we rewind the clock to the opening night of the 2025 festival, where special guests, including Her Majesty The Queen, attended an exclusive talk in Chatsworth's Painted Hall with author Gill Hornby and host Gyles Brandreth in honour of Jane Austen's 250th birthday.
