Well, this is it. Before the Until Dawn PC port comes out later this year, I finally decided to take the plunge and start the Supermassive suite of games! I wanted to try a full length game first instead of working on the Dark Pictures Anthology, so I'm playing the Quarry. A game about teenagers, a summer camp, and a reclusive, curse family bound to kill all of them. I'm sure nothing will go wrong and everything will be fine and dandy lol. For real though, I'm dying to get into the Quarry with everyone and see if we can make it through the night together! This stream aired live on July 2024 on Twitch.

This is not a game that I thought Id ever be playing, to be honest. I am, however, a man of my word and intend to make good on my deal. My friend Chickenoodlez13 started playing Warframe and I said that I would complete the first Kingdom Hearts game. I have to say, I dont get it. I dont know why people flock to this franchise and worship it the way they do. Its not a bad game, its actually pretty solid for 2002, all things considered. I was under the impression that this game was going to change my whole world though, and it simply...didnt. That being said, I may continue the franchise at some point to see if this first game is just a fluke. This stream aired live in January 2023 on Twitch.

In todays episode of side games that I didnt think were going to be good, but actually were pretty good... Resident Evil Revelations 2! After the first Revelations game, I did not have high high hopes for this game. I did see that most people praised this game over the first one as feeling a lot more like a RE game. I took a chance on RER2 and was (surprisingly) not disappointed! This game takes a lot of the features of RER1 and refines them into an much more fun experience overall. The story and characters are better and the [censored for spoilers] was a complete surprise to me! This stream aired live in August 2024 on Twitch.

The first DLC for Alan Wake 2 is truly a marvel to behold. This game is as wacky and weird as I was hoping it would be. This DLC shows off alternate realities where you play as the Waitress (Rose), the Sibling (Jesse Fadan of Control), and the Actor (Tim Breaker or Jake Joyce) and get up to all sorts of nonsense in Bright Falls. I also enjoyed this DLC while under the influence of some very tasty gummies and it truly made the whole experience that much more wild. This stream aired live June 2024 on Twitch.

I never had a Gamecube growing up, so I missed a lot of great games in that console generation. One of those games was Beyond Good and Evil. My friend @bain1576 recommended this game to me a while ago, and with his stunning track record of amazing games I couldnt say no. Beyond Good and Evil holds up remarkable well for a game thats over 20 years old, but does still suffer from some of the game design hurdles from the early 2000s. That being said, the adventures of Jade, Peyj, and the whole crew on Hillis is one that Ill remember for a long time to come! This stream aired live in June 2024 on Twitch.

Were back in the F.E.A.R. universe with the sequel, Project Origin! I didnt realize what Id be getting myself into with this game, but it is truly an upgrade to the original in every way! Alma and her gang of spooky ghosts are even more terrifying, the combat is smoother and expanded (you can drive the mech suits now!) and the story...well that still doesnt make any sense, but thats okay. All we really need to know is that Alma = Bad and that everyone is probably going to die at the end... like the first game lol! This stream aired live on June 2024 on Twitch.

My Friendly Neighborhood is a weird game. I did not think it was going to be as good as it was, but it genuinely surprised me. A game that looks like a Resident Evil clone with puppets actually tells a really weirdly sweet story about a grumpy repairman and his effort to find his spark and survive the night against a horde of evil puppets. John and Evan Szymanski have really knocked this game outta the park and Im looking forward to playing some other games by John now! This stream aired live on July 2024 on Twitch.
