The Pussycat Dolls is a female pop, dance and rnb music group founded by Robin Antin. The group started as a burlesque troupe in 1995 in California, United States. After attracting national attention, Robin Antin negotiated a contract with Interscope Records in 2003, and the troupe was re-created as a music group in 2003.
