Hey all! In this video I dive into collecting The Beatles on vinyl, focusing on their psychedelic years from 1966 to 1968. I’ll show my original UK pressings, talk about mono vs stereo mixes, why I avoid Capitol Records US releases, and why Beatles singles and EPs are essential for any serious collection.
This era includes legendary tracks like Tomorrow Never Knows, Strawberry Fields Forever, I Am the Walrus, and the groundbreaking albums Revolver, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and The White Album.

![Bo Hansson 1970 De Svarta Ryttarna / Flykten Till Vadstället [Longer first press mix]
This is a vinyl rip of De Svarta Ryttarna / Flykten Till Vadstället (The Black Riders & Flight to the Ford) from the first Swedish press of Bo Hanssons LP Sagan Om Ringen (Music Inspired By Lord Of The Rings). This is a different mix than all subsequent versions. This version is longer, the usual version ends at 4:03, but this version continues for about 30 seconds. This mix also feels more rough and unpolished to me. Please comment if you find other if you find other differences.
The first press vinyl has matrix numbers: SAL 4600 A / SAL 4600 B Bo Hansson 1970 De Svarta Ryttarna / Flykten Till Vadstället [Longer first press mix]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/dleo_sosffs/mqdefault.jpg)
