The promise Neverland Sarcastically explained
It is the year 2045, and over 1000 years after an agreement called "The Promise" was made to end a long war between humans and demons. Each would live their own separate "worlds"; the demon world, with several Farms for breeding human offerings to feed the demons, and the human world. The promise involved humans collaborating with the demons to return any human escapees to the Farms. Each Farm had a main house managed by a human "Mom", in which the children, who each have their own set of identifying numbers on the left side of their necks, believed they were orphans with no knowledge of life outside the boundary, and believed that when they left, they were being adopted.
