This level is actually just not real. I suggested we try this as a joke after beating Quantum Circles, and then I took a bathroom break only to come back to see Gecko making practice copies of the level. We both gave the wave a try, and it was unfortunately just not possible for me for click that fast and control the wave at the same time, but it was just about possible for Gecko. After a little bit of practice, he was able to gain some really consistent control over the wave and was able to beat the entire level in a copy with the wave only. We ended up beating the level on his account, and then rebeating it on my account after two unfortunate deaths to the very end of the level.
I have always found this level pretty amusing, but actually playing it gave me a newfound appreciation for it. Watching back the completion is super cool and rather mesmerizing, and I would absolutely love to see this rated despite its super short runtime and utterly insane gameplay. I would usually feel bad about making someone do all the difficulty of a 2 player level but since I beat the difficult side of We Are Not The Same for 3 different completions I feel like it was owed to me so thanks Gecko :3
