In this video I talk about how it has been going with my inked fountain pens! This has been an interesting summer so far ... I find myself battling POOR mood this month (and it's hotter than heck in South Texas) .... but writing is still a happy part of my day and of the 10 pens I have inked 3 of them REALLY have been excellent plus I am enjoying the new TWSBI Swipes even though they are not beautiful pens ... they are perfect for carrying anywhere and for easy clean up!!! Plus the broad nib one came with a buttery smooth wide broad nib!!!
Here are the pens inks listed that I talked about:
1. Yafa Scenerio F/M with Rohrer & Klingner Verdigris (my fault this pen had to be cleaned out I left it unused too often and it did dry out).
2. Lamy Vista B with Ancient Charm on the Love of Lotus (beautuiful shimmery ink + might be better with a larger nib/feed next time!)
3. TWSBI Eco Rose Gold and white 1.1 with Robert Oster Tranquility
4. TWSBI Eco Yellow B with Sailor 50 States Texas
5. TWSBI Classic Turquoise B with Platinum Mixable Aqua Blue (still need to determine what's up with the flow in this pen)
6. TWSBI Go B Clear with KWZ Monarch Fontoplumo Exc.
7. Lamy Al-Star Vibrant Pink B with Vinta Makopa * my favorite combination this month!!!!!
8. TWSBI Diamond 580 ALR B with Ferris Wheel Press Double Raspberry
and the 2 new "TWSBI SWIPE" pens:
9. TWSBI Swipe Smoke M with Diamine Earl Grey
10. TWSBI Swipe Prussian Blue B with J Herbin Kyanite du Nepal
My favorite 3 pen/ink combos for August so far:
#1 is the Lamy Al-Star B with the beautiful Vinta Makopa
#2 is my TWSBI Eco Yellow B with Sailor 50 States - Texas
#3 is the TWSBI Go B KWZ Monarch Fontoplumo Exc.
