NW Creation Network | The Problems With Distant Starlight @nwcreationnetwork | Uploaded 4 years ago | Updated 2 days ago
Many Christian laymen and apologists alike stumble over the what has been dubbed “the distant starlight problem,” citing it as a key obstacle to their acceptance of a young (i.e. ~6,000 year) creation. In this presentation, Dan takes this difficult topic by the horns and demonstrates to non-technical audiences how the distant starlight problem is a double-edged sword that cuts both ways–against young- and old-earth creationists alike; it is not the proverbial nail in the young-earth coffin that many think it is.
Multimedia presentation by Dan Kreft at the Apologetics Symposium, Cedar Park Church, Bothell WA. January 8th, 2019.
About the Speaker:
Dan Kreft, the Seven-Foot Apologist, has been teaching theology and apologetics at Antioch Bible Church in Kirkland, Washington since 2003, where he teaches students ranging from 6th grade to their 6th decade of life. His passion for equipping parents to teach their children how to defend their faith is captured in his three-volume book, “Jesus” Is Not the Answer to Every Sunday School Question. You can find Dan on Facebook, Facebook, LinkedIn, and at his website: https://sevenfootapologist.com.
