Animal Crossing New Horizons is the first game in the series to feature regular updates. This was initially an exciting idea for the series, but it didn't quite pan out quite as fans expected. I go through each update and how effective it was at extending the gameplay in New Horizons. Did it add to the day to the day of the game? Did each month and season feel more complete after the updates? I want to explore how every update kept us engaged and how when they started falling short of expectations.
