LegalEagel's video about COPPA: youtube.com/watch?v=C3Q48dwopVU
Videos made for children are now treated differently on YouTube because of COPPA - the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. How will Coppa affect channels with animation? Does family-friendly content made for everyone count as made for kids? Turns out this is quite a complex issue... I try to give an overview about everything animators need to know about COPPA and what it could mean for animated content on YouTube.

A breakdown is a pose at the turning point of a motion path – often during the fastest moment of a motion.
It’s often seen as the middle of a motion, but it doesn’t have to be in the exact middle of both the timing and the spacing.
While key poses and extremes are often (but not always) surrounded by similar looking ease frames, a breakdown is most of the time just a passing position with a large spacing before and after it.
In breakdown poses during a fast motion, most characters instinctually close their eyes to protect them. Breakdowns - animating a cute bouncing monster part 3 - 2D animation class [014]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/J0vzh3jvTA4/mqdefault.jpg)

Its difficult to give instructions on how to animate. But these are probably the most important elements you need to have a look at when you learn animation:
Key poses - used to define the most important moments in your animation are vital to understand the action that you are animating. Craft these keyframes carefully e.g. by developing poses with thumbnails.
Extremes or extreme poses like anticipation and overshoot are needed to prepare and catch the animated motion.
Breakdowns - define the middle position between two keyframes. Use this to define the arc that the element will travel on.
This video gives you all the step by step instruction you need to animate a headturn in any animation software. This exercise is a good start to learn character animation.
