Destiny 2 Lightfall has reinforced the issues I've always had with Champions. Champion mods have been improved with changes in Lightfall and there's more ways to deal with them than ever. But I think on a fundamental level, Champions are poorly designed in Destiny 2 currently. High level Lost Sectors really highlight the issues with Champions today.
