Prince Oberon has come a long way! He’s quickly become one of my favorite characters and is definitely the most popular pony in my fanfic. Thus, here’s a fun little post with some more info about him…

OBERON FACTS:

1.) Despite a common misconception, this dude is half kirin!
Oberon is the son of Princess Luna and a kirin rogue named Orion. He is NOT related to Sombra, though his design shares many similarities due to the manifestation of his dark magic. His crimson horn has two points because of his kirin heritage.

2.) His adventures across Infection AUs are canon to his story!
Oberon is a character from my MLP fanfic Eclipse of Harmony on AO3. However, the story will likely never be finished in written form, so the best way to experience his story is through the series of animations available on my YouTube channel. Eclipse of Harmony has a playlist with every video in order! The Infection AU posts all have a place in the series, but it’s up to viewers to determine how they fit.

3.) I have included his character in a few different stories!
Any appearances Oberon makes in my comics or cartoons is completely separate. He travels the multiverse, after all! Of course there’s more than one Oberon. You can usually tell which world we’re in by checking if he has a cutiemark…
