Your kid's coach wants an easy way to share videos and updates with the team. That's understandable. But "easy" and "safe" aren't the same thing.
There are plenty of tools built specifically for team communication that don't require your kid to have a social media account just to participate.
If a coach asks for Snapchat, it's fair to say no. It's also fair to ask what else is available. Most teams have more options than they realize, they just haven't been asked to look.
