The Pressure I Felt as a New Wedding Photographer

Wedding photography is a tough industry. From demanding brides, to the fear of missing the shot, cameras or memory cards failing, your car not starting in the morning on the day of the wedding, and much much more- it's stressful! And on top of that, there's an entire wedding industry telling you exactly what wedding photography should look like: Photographers selling to you, wedding blogs whose sole purpose is to sell to you, and the list goes on.

In this video, I discuss the pressure I felt as a new wedding photographer when I first started out, how I eventually dealt with it, and ultimately found my own creative voice in this genre of photography.
