On the Fourth Sunday of Advent and our Christmas Sunday service, we turn our attention to Joseph in the Advent story. In the face of fear, Joseph chooses presence—standing with Mary rather than turning away. In our own lives, perhaps God’s presence is often made real through one another, inviting us to move through fear together and stand in solidarity.
