Day 1 at SDCC brought the biggest surprise I can imagine - a hobbit-scale booth of The Prancing Pony by Middle-earth Enterprises! This thing is SO COOL! If you're at Comic-Con, you gotta check it out and get your picture taken with the giant props that make you feel like a hobbit! Booth 2615

They're also doing giveaways, including a new print from Jerry Vanderstelt depciting a goblin from the 1977 The Hobbit by Rankin Bass!
