In this Good Friday service, we gather around the table of communion to remember the sacrifice of Jesus and the power of His broken body and shed blood. Rooted in Isaiah 53 and 1 Corinthians 11, this message centers on the healing that flows from the cross, not only for our physical bodies, but for the Body of Christ as a whole. Through taking the bread and the cup together, we proclaim the reality of the new covenant and step into the fullness of what Jesus purchased: restoration, unity, and life in Him.
As we fix our eyes on the cross, we are invited into the “terrifying wonder” of Christ’s love, a place where pain is met with redemption and brokenness is transformed by His presence. This service is both a remembrance and a response, calling us to draw near with gratitude, surrender, and faith. In the power of His blood, we are welcomed into deep communion with God, refreshed in His presence, and invited to say yes again to the story He is writing in and through our lives.
