Classrooms in Rwanda lack suitable materials for students to read, but teachers are not letting that stop them from finding creative ways to teach literacy. Through the Literacy, Language, and Learning (L3) initiative, teachers, student teachers, and teacher mentors are learning to write their own materials, in both English and Kinyarwanda. This video highlights L3's first storytelling workshop in the Bugesera district.

L3 is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development and implemented by EDC in collaboration with the Ministry of Education's Rwanda Education Board and its partners.
