The 2.7 RS is considered to be the ultimate expression of the early 911. Built as a homologation special for racing, Porsche fitted a larger engine to increase power to 210 horsepower, while cutting weight at the same time. The 2.7 RS was also different in terms of aerodynamics thanks to a lower front spoiler, extended fenders, and the famous ducktail spoiler at the back.
