This is a very easy and fun blanket to make . It's a simple 4 row repeat made in multiples of 8 plus one for base chain. You can make this one solid color, use different colors for each repeat sequence, use variegated yarn, self striping yarn, whatever your heart tells you. I used approximately 1600 yards of 4 weight yarn, a 5.5 mm hook, and the blanket came out to 40"x50".
