"Nothin' But A Heartache" was the B side to the 1982 release of "I'm So Excited", originally recorded by The Doobie Brothers.
This performance was at the Attic in 1981. Ticket price $8.50. The sisters weren't too happy with the club's logo, but went on as the true professionals they are. No air conditioning back then either! The Pointer Sisters were already Grammy winners by this point and had 2 top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100.
Anita's dress can be seen at the Hollywood Museum with many other Pointer Sisters' dresses as part of her Ever After Exhibit.
