The Phoenix Suns were not supposed to be very good this NBA season after trading Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets and letting Bradley Beal go to the Los Angeles Clippers, but they just blew the Los Angeles Lakers out even without Devin Booker for most of the night. Dillon Brooks is balling, Collin Gillespie, Royce O’Neale, and Grayson Allen are snipers, Mark Williams is a great big, and they shut down LeBron James, Luka Doncic, and Austin Reaves defensively. The Suns are suddenly a real factor in the Western Conference after nobody expected them to be so and it’s been a really fun rise.
