Name a cuter couple.. Kidding of course. In all seriousness, this has been an ultimate setup for me lately because of the simplicity, and something about the nature of slowing me down just enough to think about what im doing rather than blowing through creative habits that lead to similar sounding results. Using the Digitakt as a sound card with my patch bay has been a fun way to sample my whole studio straight into Logic Pro for iPad!
Not only that, I can sample from YouTube, or Vimeo, or anything that my iPad is doing straight into the Digitakt, chop it up, and then record it into an audio track within Logic and apply effects and keep it moving! I'll show you my workflow that I've been having a lot of fun with lately when using these two together. I think they make a great compact setup.
