A narrow passage cut through the mountains creates some of the world’s most dangerous ocean rapids. Thousands of fish migrate deep blow the surface, most survive, but many won’t make the journey. Caught in the unpredictable currents, their rapid ascent means the end. The gas inside their bodies expands causing them to fill up like balloons. The eagles know the exact moment the rush of the tide will bring them a meal.
