I love off-the-beaten-path day trips. As someone who loves and lives in Tokyo, it can get pretty crazy from time to time and an escape from the hustle and bustle is always a great idea.
Here's the 3 locations mentioned in this video:
📍 Hakone Mototsumiya Shrine
📍 Mt. Taikan Observation Deck
📍 Oyama Afuri Shrine
All 3 of these locations are very much do-able within a day, although via public transport will require some planning, so hiring a car for the day is what I would personally recommend.
