Since James Gunn has stepped into the leadership role of the DC Universe we have seen some projects that are expected like Superman and other that are outright strange like Creature Commandos. Well he just announced the oddest series yet - The People V. Gorilla Grodd.

This true crime spoof has a trick up its sleeve, its being made by the creative team behind American Vandal. A similar series also starring Jimmy Tatro that was a hidden gem in the Netflix catalog. Will this be different than other projects like Lanterns and Peacemaker as we dive into the Daily Planet? Absolutely, but thats the charm.
