The Pentagon trimmed its list of military chaplaincy religions from 200-plus down to 31, and in the process quietly dropped the "Christian" label that had grouped Catholics, Methodists, and others — leaving the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints standing alone and Senators Mike Lee and Chris Stewart furious. This episode we dig into the fallout, but the more interesting question is the one underneath it: who actually has the authority to decide who counts as a Christian?
