This kinescope of the “Paul Winchell Show” has been circulating the internet and home DVDs for a while. Based on newspapers clippings, it aired as early as Thursday, December 24, 1953, and was seen in most markets on Sunday, December 27, 1953. This kinescope was recorded and seen in some stations as late as January 1954.
More information is wanted about the cast, particularly the girl “Elizabeth” who was being babysat by Paul for the wrap around segments.

Some sources list this episode as dated September 10, 1935, however it is unlikely that date is correct, based on description of the program. In this adventures Popeye needs Wheatena to save Olive and Matey from a runaway trolley
