One of my favorite trading strategies takes advantage of a simple market inefficiency: most traders mentally check out on Friday afternoon.

In this video, I break down the over-the-weekend pattern, a short-term strategy built around stocks that receive news, attract volume and begin spiking late on Friday. As attention builds across social media, chat rooms and news articles over the weekend, the stock can potentially gap up or spike again on Monday or Tuesday.

You’ll learn the exact checklist I use to identify potential weekend plays, including late-day catalysts, underfollowed stocks, former runners, unusual volume and strong price action into the close. I also explain why I want the move to begin before I enter, how I trade anticipation rather than chase the news and when I sell into Monday morning momentum.

I walk through real examples, including BILZF, BYND and the over-the-weekend trade that helped produce my first $100,000 day as a college freshman.

This pattern is never guaranteed. Risk management is essential. Use small position sizes, establish clear profit targets, cut losses quickly and never average down simply because a trade is not working.

Study the process, recognize the pattern, and prepare before the crowd reacts.
