In this sermon we examine Jesus' primary reason in giving us the parable of the unjust steward. We highlight key lessons that the Lord Jesus taught us from this parable: Use money to build friendships. Be faithful and honest in little things. Be faithful in money. Be faithful in what is another persons'. Be faithful to God - you cannot serve two masters. We also consider parallel texts including Matthew 6:19-24 that teaches us about guarding our heart, and our eye, so we serve God, and not money. Our heart and vision (focus) must be on God. This will ensure we serve God and master money.
