This documentary came out in 2017 on PBS. It focuses on many of the issues people who suffer in pain have to deal with in the United States of America. It used to be available here:

Since the "Opioid Crisis" started, people who suffer in pain have been left to suffer. SO MANY restrictions have been put on pain medication that it makes it almost impossible to get what you need. The Government shouldn't have the right to tell ANYONE what they can and can't do with their own bodies (this applies to MANY things). Because of the situation, MANY people have been forced to go to the street for their medication (not me, not at $25 a pill). I thought we had a "War On Drugs?" What's safer? Getting your medication through a doctor and a pharmacy or getting them from the street?
As we found out during the debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, people are STILL dying in record numbers from opiates EVEN WITH all of the restrictions placed on them. ALL restrictions on them should be removed.
