The Pacific Green Transformation Project in Samoa is advancing electric mobility and clean marine transport while building the systems needed to sustain it.

Samoa introduced 76 electric vehicles and 45 charging points, with six available to the public and others supporting government fleets. The project also supports safe battery disposal, charging infrastructure, and policymaking, helping create a full ecosystem for e mobility.

The transition is already changing lives. An electric boat, the first in Samoa, protects marine life by eliminating petrol pollution around reefs and coastal waters while reducing operating costs for families. Electric vehicles are also strengthening emergency response, with waterproof rapid response vehicles able to operate for three days without charging.
